Dr. Tola Yusuf is a telecom strategist and thought leader, as well as the Founding Partner of Infratel Africa—a pioneering open-access digital infrastructure company working to expand connectivity, inclusion, and sustainable growth in unserved and underserved communities. His vision is centered on Africa’s transformation through technology and inclusive infrastructure. Across Nigeria and West Africa, Tola has led efforts in co-location tower programs, fiber-optic projects, rural broadband expansions, green-energy–powered telecom sites, and community Wi-Fi initiatives that bridge the digital divide while enhancing unit economics. He serves as an AU Agenda 2063 Ambassador (Digital Infrastructure & Inclusion) and actively engages in public–private partnerships, telecom policy, and renewable-energy innovation for last-mile access. Tola holds an MBA and an Executive Certificate in Corporate Strategy from Harvard Business School, and he is a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), with research focused on PPP models for sustainable rural digital infrastructure. A frequent keynote speaker, he has spoken at TowerXchange Africa, the Nigeria eGovernment Summit, Tech Titans Conference, PIAFO Summit, AI for Africa Forum, and the Women in Tech Leadership Summit, among others. He has been recognized among the 50 Most Valuable Personalities in Nigeria’s Digital Economy (2024 & 2025) and as one of CIO Views’ Top 10 Empowering Business Leaders in Africa (2025)—honors that highlight his leadership, innovation, and dedication to empowering communities through digital access and clean energy
